2016 was quite an eventful year for me and it had been nothing short of amazing. Here goes some of the highlights of my year!
I turned 23 early this March and I spent my birthday over at Mövenpick Heritage Hotel in Sentosa. As I grow older, birthdays are not so much of presents or celebrations, but more of a day for me to spend with my loved ones.
One of my big ticket purchase this year – the Valentino Lock bag.
JQ completed his national service. The left picture was taken during his ORD parade and the right picture was taken during his social night.
No more book-ins/book-outs and field camps. One of the not-so memorable time for me during his NS days was his field-camps, because he will be totally uncontactable throughout the whole field-camp.
I also got my Bachelor’s degree!
Gone were the days where I rush to school from work, pay chunks of school fees, rush for assignment’s deadline and mug so hard for exams. Its a huge load off my chest and I am glad my perseverance paid off.
One of my travel destination this year – Laos
Fun fact: Our initial plan was to head to New Zealand because it was supposed to be a “Grad/ORD trip” but our friends could not commit to the dates so we decided to head to somewhere in S.E.A and Laos was decided by a game of… scissors paper stone.
We almost died during this trip due to a kayak accident. I talked about it on my dayre (x)
Another travel destination – Rawa Island, Malaysia
We were there in 2015 and we went back to celebrate our first anniversary in 2016!
My favourite pair of jeans since… few years ago!
Added my first pair of denim skirt into my wardrobe and it had been a staple since.
Backless any time, any day. I like any thing backless!
My 3 favourite casual looks of 2016.
This year, its good-bye to culottes and hello to skinny pants for my wardrobe! I now have 9 pairs in different colours from different brands.
Pencil skirts just make you look made-up and presentable.
Last but not least, the biggest change of my life in 2016 was bidding my spectacles goodbye after being short-sighted for about 14 years!
I did a ReLEx® SMILE treatment at The Lasik Surgery Clinic in Paragon with Dr. Marc Tay and its one of my best decisions everrrr!
Thank you all for your kind support and love this year! I look forward to what is in store for all of us in 2017.
With that, I wish you all a veryTo better times ahead!
Xoxo,
Audrey
