We took a boat from Mersing Jetty and arrived at Rawa Island 15 minutes later. We booked a waterfront resort and it happened to be the same room we stayed last year. A waterfront resort has an ocean view and the best part is falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves lapping against the shore.
The glistening blue sea is mesmerizing. I even had a set of bohemian nails done at Tania’s before leaving for this trip. It matches the beach perfectly.
A quiet dinner by the beach. The food served at Rawa is really good.
We covered the whole island by foot, that’s how small and cozy it is. From swimming in the sea to jungle trekking to lounging at the bar to relaxing in our balcony. This is by far one of my favourite islands.
Rawa, you’ve got our hearts.
